I am blessed to have found Mr. Asean as my transport provider (with a comfortable, spacious air-conditioned car!) for my visit to Angkor Wat. Although he will only get his Tour Guide Certification in a few months time, his in-depth knowledge and passion in Cambodia history truly blow me away! With his fluent English and clear narration, I learnt many valuable lessons from him as we travel and visit the many interesting ancient historical sites. Mr. Asean is indeed experienced, professional, honest and genuine! His rates are clearly reasonable, and you will realise that the customer service and attention he provide is definitely value-for-money. I highly recommend Mr. Asean if you are looking for a genuine, no-frills transport provider when touring Angkor Wat!

Asean Driver in siem reap *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*

First, i would like to say thank you, Mr Asean.
This is my first visit to Seam Reap, Cambodia.Mr Asean is very friendly, polite, and nice, he was our driver in siem reap from 18/10/2014 til 21/10/2014. He provided unlimited mineral water and wet towel to quench our thirst and wiped our dripping sweat, we felt so warmth about that. He definitely can talk well in English, and he told us that he is learning Chinese now, there is no any barrier to communicate with him.So I would recommend friends who have plans to visit Siem Reap, Cambodia to engage Mr. Asean's service. Thanks.

    Hi, Asean,
Just want to say thank you for everything. You really made our trip a pleasure and memorable. Since we have planned our trip in a rush, we were lucky to have you as our driver in Siem Reap. We are happy with your service and would strongly recommend you to our friends. Your English is good and easy to communicate, and we do appreciate your consideration and flexibility. Angkor Wat is a great place to visit though it’s a bit hot in April. And what we like the most is the village near Tonlesap Lake. Wish we could have brought more clothes & cookies for the children. Thank you again and wish you all the best.

    Hi Asean,
I heard about you through the backpacker's site. I'll be traveling in a group of 4 to
Siem Reap for 6 days, Dec.3 ~ Dec.8. We need a honest & dependable driver to
help organize our tours. Please let me know if you are available for that period and the rate of your charge per day. Awaiting your response soon.

Me & my boyfriend visited Siem Reap in Sep 2013. During our 4 days stay, we felt safe and warm to have Asean and his brother, Reak as our drivers. Both of them really a trustworthy drivers. Thanks for their additional guides and info on the Siem Reap culture and a bit of brief historical on Angkor temples as we didn't hire a tour guide. His brother had guided and helped us to take a few of the nice pictures at the Angkor Thom area! That is really a bonus for our memories in Siem Reap. I for sure will contact them again for the service during my next visit to Siem Reap.

Me and my friends went to Cambodia this July. Initially we try to get Mr Asean as our driver but unfortunately, he has promised with another group of tourists during that period of time. Nevertheless, Mr Asean introduced us to his brother, Mr Sampo, as our driver. We would like to express our gratitude to both of them, for being friendly and informative all the time when we were in Siem Reap. Cambodia is a nice country with friendly people, will definitely recommend this country and Mr Asean to all my friends!

Siem Reap is really a wonderful place and we enjoyed the place very much. Credit should be given to our local driver 'Asean' for guiding us with such a nice journey and an outstanding level of service throughout.

Asean is very friendly, reliable, knowledgeable and a safe driver. We appreciate his prompt response and patience in answering our lots of questions.

During our stay, Asean shared many stories and travel tips, some of which we would never have found on the guidebook. His suggestions were always good and trustworthy, and helped us avoid lesser sights and crowds. For e.g. the best place for souvenir shopping & dining, the best time to visit, the best scene / angle for photo-shooting, bringing us to try very local foods, as well as arrangement for trekking and biking!

Asean is always energetic and fun loving. He has a good sense of humor and we would never feel bored in the time with him. All of his arrangements worked out perfectly. We were so impressed with his service and so happy with our experience. We highly recommend Asean as a must local driver for a fantastic trip in Siem Reap - Angkor.

Asean was my guide in Siem Reap in January 2010. (I'm from Australia and was travelling by myself.) He made me feel at home in Cambodia, showed me his wonderful town and the astonishing temples and I highly recommend his friendly, reliable and polite service. Siem Reap was the highlight of my travels around Cambodia and Vietnam and I look forward to visiting again one day.

Asean is a nice and caring young man with good standard of english, who has been taking good care of me and my friend during our 4 days ladies' trip in Siem Reap. I would highly recommended him as your personal driver. Also, you can ask him to show you his favourite temple for a great surprise.

We had a fantastic time in Siem Reap a year or so back and it was all down to Asean, who was our guide for 6 days. Now planning a return visit and meeting up again with Asean, now an "old" friend, will be a must.
